P-Square Feud Escalates: Rudeboy Accuses Mr P of Song Theft

The ongoing feud between Nigerian twin singers Peter and Paul Okoye, known as P-Square, has taken another dramatic turn. Over two years after their much-publicized reunion, Peter Okoye, popularly known as Mr. P, has been accused by his twin brother Paul Okoye, aka Rudeboy, of stealing his song “Winning.”

Mr. P responded to these allegations with a series of open letters, denying the claims and accusing Rudeboy and their elder brother, Jude, of embezzling P-Square’s funds. The dispute has reignited, with both brothers airing their grievances publicly.

Rudeboy claimed that “Winning” was meant to be a significant part of their comeback album and accused Mr. P of releasing it without his permission. Mr. P defended himself by stating that the song was co-written by him and another artist, Calypso, and produced with contributions from Goldswarm and Vampire Craze.

The twin brothers, who launched their music career in 1999 and dominated the African music scene for over a decade, first split in 2016 and reconciled in 2021. However, their relationship has once again deteriorated, with both parties now focusing on their individual careers.
